Venice

Venice is a popular, distinctive, and laid back destination that draws both locals and out-of-towners. It is best known for its skate and surf lifestyle, entertaining boardwalk, and assortment of restaurants. Situated in between Santa Monica, Marina Del Rey, and Mar Vista, this neighborhood is by far the most visited, and also epitomizes the Los Angeles immortalized in countless television shows and movies. With its proximity to the beach, streets filled with local vendors and boutique shops, specialty dessert spots, and colorful street performers, there is always something exciting going on in Venice.

The private streets of Venice are known for their narrow walkways, which are difficult for cars to maneuver through. For a more secluded experience farther from the beach, the inner neighborhoods near Abbot Kinney have many condominiums and townhouses, while providing easy access to quirky shops and eateries. However, for those who want to be in the middle of the action, there are plenty of single-family and ranch-style homes closer to the beach in the areas nestled between Venice and Washington Boulevards.
