UCLA students live on or just off campus in surrounding Westwood. Neighborhoods to the east and west provide upscale classic housing for families. The roads along Beverly Glen and Thayer are beautiful but pricey and the Los Angeles Country Club sits in the western corner of Westwood. High-rise options are available on Wilshire Boulevard for young professionals and the south offers quaint, ranch-style homes in quiet, friendly communities. Although there are some low-key and affluent residences available in Century City, the majority of the area is primarily a business district. However, towards the east side of Century City on Century Park Lane are homes ranging from luxurious duplexes to high-rise condominiums. The opposite end of town along Beverly Glen Boulevard consists of mostly single-family townhouses, low-rise condominiums, and large mansions for those who can afford to spend a little bit more.
